ARTICLE REQUIREMENTS

  1. Participants are required to register as participants in the SKIC VI: in Conjunction with 1st Koetaradja International Neurology Update (KIANU) Symposium and have paid the registration fee.
  2. Abstract themes can be drawn from all branches of knowledge in Neurology and can be in the form of research articles or case reports.
  3. Abstract should contain an original material not published at the time of submission.
  4. The research article has received approval from the local Health Ethics and Research Committee (KEPK).
  5. The Case reports have obtained consent from the patient or other person responsible for the patient.
  6. Participants whose articles are chosen for oral presentations are required to submit the slides for their articles virtually and get assessed.
  7. Every first letter in the abstract title is written in capital letters, for example: “The Effect of Hyponatremia on the Outcome of Tuberculosis Meningitis”.
  8. Abstract must be submitted in English.
  9. Submission of abstracts and revisions, full text, E-Posters, and slides for oral presentation (if selected) via the website https://skic.usk.ac.id
  10. Research abstract must contain:
    a. Background
    b. Case
    c. Method
    d. Result
    e. Discussion
    f. Conclusion
    g. Keyword 
  11. Case reports abstract must contain:
    a. Background
    b. Case Summary
    c. Discussion
    d. Conclusion
    f. Keywords
  12. Generally, participants will be asked for 3 documents, which are:
    a. Abstract (and its revisions) (a Microsoft Word document with a maximum size of 500KB);
    b. Complete manuscript (Microsoft Word document with a maximum size of 5MB);
    c. E-Posters (document with .jpg or .pdf extensions with a maximum size of 5MB) or slides for oral presentations.


Oral Presentation
  1. Participants must prepare structured slides in the presentation that can be presented in 7-minutes durations. The presentation will be followed by a 3-minute question and answer session.
  2. Participants should submit the presentation slides no later than 6 hours before the presentation schedule determined by the committee.
  3. Ensure that all slides/video/animations are working smoothly.
  4. All participants should be in the room 15 minutes before the presentation starts.
Poster Presentation
  1. All participants should send the poster in .pdf format to email.
  2. The title is written in TImes New Roman font size 24 and line spacing 1.
  3. Ensure that all pictures and tables are readable.
